Death of a Rainbow Unicorn
This past weekend, I went on a canoe trip with some friends in Northern California, USA. I was surprised to see the largest and most colorful float I had ever seen. This was a beautiful rainbow unicorn, which could have easily held 6 adults and their favorite beverages.
These floats are a lot of fun and seem to be getting bigger each year. Here is a pic of someone trying to get one from the store for a day on the river.
Of course, the life of a colorful float is not all fun and games. It is hard work carrying all the people and drinks down the river. Sometimes there are casualties, such as this once beautiful unicorn.
Farewell mighty unicorn, you will be missed!
