Proof Brewing Co - Microbrewery for the win!
It's Saturday night - You know what that means. Going out with friends!
My best friend Drew and his girlfriend, Kara, have yet to try Proof Brewing and with my sister Satori being in town for the weekend, this was a no brainer.
Located near of "Gaines Street" in Railroad Square, Proof Brewery is an architects dream.
Proof Brewing has about 20 of their own beers on tap. They have a huge variety of types of beer including:
- India Pale Ales
- Witbiers
- Porters
- Stouts
- American Pale Ales
Beer Garden
The best part about Proof is the atmosphere. With a ultra big Connect Four game, 3 cornhole sets, and a bocce ball set along with a plethora of seating outside, Proof's Beer Garden is a hit.
The best Milk Stout I have ever had
It poured a frothy tan head with a very dark brown color. The smell was of chocolate with hints of coffee. It tasted delicious with a very pleasing after taste.
I will certainly buy this beer again.
Overall, we had another successful night.
I like dark brown beer!
It does taste better than those light beets I must say!
Looks like you really enjoyed it. Intially I never drank stout but these days I am growing more fond of them. Great post thanks @sevinwilson
I agree with you! As many people age their palate is more accepting of more strong, flavorful brews
👍🏼
nice clicks..........................
Looks like a fun place. That is the perfect summer atmosphere!
It really is! It is pretty close to the football stadium and it gets crowded during the season!
Looks like a great night out, cheers from @steempub-trail!
It was a blast! I can't wait to check out the @steempub-trail!
Great post my man!
SIdenote, I'm cleaning up who I'm following and limiting it to those creating adult social sports leagues material (darts, pool, bocce, disc golf, drinking beer, stuff like what this post is about). And I have seen a couple of your posts which fall into these categories... Not concerned with what level anybody is, just how good the material is... Not fishing for creators with large followings, just columnists with readers who are interested in THIS STUFF...
I'm resteeming these creators or adding links in my posts and I just added you.I'm not asking for a follow you/follow me. I'm only interested in following/followers who are actually engaged in this subject and these sports. Articles/Posts on how-to practice, to tournament reporting, to playing and everything in between... These are the posts I'll resteem or add links for in my posts.
If you get the chance, check out some of my stuff @swansed . If you like it, consider maybe doing the same thing. As a group, we can resteem each others content, and slowly grow an audience with actual interest in what we put out instead of the random 'follow for follow' crowd which won't give any of our future articles a second glance...(let's be honest, that's where the frustration comes in)
Look it's a bitch getting noticed here unless you are posting general content or fluff. Let's build momentum with these niche sports and find the audience we came here to find!
Also, looking to do some Facebook and reddit recruiting campaigns in their niche groups to pull in some new eyes from other social media outlets. There's a chance we could try this as a group also and bring in some new eyes to look at what we are cooking up....
The more contributors we bring in, the louder our voices...
If you know of any other contributors who may be interested, please pass the word!
Regards
🎱
