The first waffle in Brussels originated in 1958 at the World's Fair.
In Belgium's capital, the waffle has a consistency of a dessert snack versus breakfast item and is covered with strawberries, whipped cream, and chocolate toppings.
The American version is free of yeast is often made from a waffle iron and likely the most well known in North America.
Regardless of what you prefer, I think we all agree that Belgium waffles are a delectable invention.
