Why everyone can become a millionaire!
Run one mile in less than 4 minutes? impossible!
The ancient Greeks and Romans have for centuries tried to break the record of four minutes for the mile. It just could not be faster than four minutes. The experts thouht that was impossible for a person. the Romans themselves let lions run after the runaways in the hope that this would stimulate extra. Too bad for the human guinea pigs, but it did not work. The record for the mile lasted until the young Englishman Roger Banister decided to try it. Bannister broke the unbreakable record on May 6, 1954. It took him 3 minutes and 59.6 seconds. He was hailed as a heroe later in the peerage. The new record was a fantastic performance, but I think it is equally important and fascinating what happened next. In the four years that followed, more than forty people walked the mile in less than four minutes! The unbreakable was broken regularly with the clock! Something had changed in the minds of the people. 'You can now walk the mile in less than four minutes. 'Try it! It's all in the ears. do you often hear'.
Now what does this mean? I myself work for charity and i have to find donors every single day. The average person is able to write 2 to 3 people on a day. A good recruiter writes between 4 to 6, a pro would write between 8 to 12, but my manager always writes 15! He even wrote 44 one time. Nobody in our sales team has ever broke that record, because we make ourselves believe it's impossible. Yet it's all between our ears. Just like the story about running the mile in less than 4 minutes. This period of the Greeks and Romans lasted from 3000 BC to 500 AD. it took 4954 years before that record was broken, while after the record was broken 40 others all of sudden broke it.
A challenge for you!
You can change the way of thinking into 'i CAN do it and i WILL try it!' Make a challenge for yourself to try everything you THINK is impossible! And you will be mind blown if it works. If you want to become a millionaire you have to believe you will become one. Your actions will lead to more productivity and the result will be that you make more profit! The more profit means you believe in it and this will result in better actions! And again better actions result in better performance!
If you keep doing what you’re doing you keep getting what you’re getting.
