Thank you , this really resonated with me. Time is often something that we take for granted and yet it is so precious. I love your quote from Star Trek “they say time is the fire in which we all burn” - so true!

I've found that we need constant reminders of how precious time is. We need shocks to the system as we tend to be beasts of monotony in the general case.

Unfortunately that's true. I think they're necessarily unfriendly otherwise they wouldn't have the imapct required to steer change. Thanks for the commet @seajai
