my sky blue parka

man, i used to love to wear this one parka
it was sky blue made me think i was rocky balboa
went to swim practice in the morning like a champ
geting my morning workout in just to get a little sample
of the feeling of making an everlasting input
that produced a decided amount of certain output.

after all, is that not life? appreciating what we strive for?
or is catching pokemon on your phone all that we fight for
connected we may seem to be in our daily activities
but in many ways we are internally divided so it seems
finding meaning and listening to those inner thoughts
don't be shy, let them come, they have a voice too
for which some people meditate; it helps them breathe,
and so they dedicate some time to what helps them be.

Focus. Our Time Is Limited. Make Sure Moves.
otherwise, you may look back and ask why did i choose
such and such actions and spend time doing what
rather than laughing a little with the ones you love.

so GO. create your own destiny. don't do this for you or me,
but we're all in this together so we may as well help each other...

to get that much closer to fulfill
our life's journeys.
