Monday Parking Meter Appreciation

I need to know fellow Steemers, is this a common thing where you are? This morning in Studio City I was going to park at a meter until I saw this:

The meter gave me a warning not to park here because of street cleaning! I've never been so happy for help to avoid a parking ticket. But I've never seen this before. Maybe I've never had to park at a meter during street cleaning or I just haven't noticed but I appreciate it. It's rare when a city tries to prevent parking tickets!
