Cats in the mail | Rainbows and Blankets
When I'm not here or in the studio you can usually find me hanging around on twitter. As far as mainstream social media goes, it's my favourite.
Last Wednesday night I was taking part in handmade hour. As a handmade artist myself and a lover of the amazing craftsmanship others put into their work it's a fun (and sometimes expensive) hour for me.
I usually find something amazing but I do love these...
Firstly they are CATS! (and cats are amazing) but not only are they cats they are rainbow cats!
(which of course makes them 50 times more awesome than regular coloured cats.)
I'm also a fan of badges and patches, these all go on my scout camp blanket (I'm an adult, it's rare the scout association gives adults badges and since I'm not exactly normal anyway I like to find cool badges to go on there.)
Now Gemma who makes these sells on etsy she shared them on twitter and because they were amazing I re-tweeted them.
Later that evening I get a notification that I had been tagged in a comment and it was Gemma saying that I had won her flash giveaway and one of these rainbow kitty patches was going to be working it's way to me over the next few days.
Today it arrived (along with a packet of M and Ms YUM!) and yes it truly is awesome, since it is iron on I plugged my straighteners in so I could get this sweet rainbowness onto my camp blanket.
