LIFE'S DECISION

Once upon a time, there was a man who was multi talented and found it very easy to learn in days whatever he sets his mind to do. In order words, he's a genius. So one day He began to Cook. Each ingredient he put was made perfect than the other. Finally, when he was done cooking, he tasted the food and it was exquisite. He was excited with what he had cooked. 

It was obvious that even those that had problems with there taste buds couldn't help themselves than to commend him for the delicious meal he just prepared. Every fiber in him, knew he was a "chef". Few minutes later, some thoughts cross his mind. He said to himself, I'm a genius, a gifted one at that. So, why restrict myself to mare cooking when I know I can do whatever I want in life, if I put my mind to it. 

He had this feeling in him that there is more to this world to explore. Been a chef is nothing compared to the world out there. So he got a hold of his food, tasted it one last time and then left the restaurant business. 

As he walked, he thought of the best thing to do with his life. Because of how preoccupied he was with his thought, he failed to notice the clouds and the stars in the sky who were trying to signal him. He had to pick just one thing to do out of all the numerous possibilities in the world. He wasn't sure if he should practice law, so he could be a lawyer or if he should study account in order to be an accountant or move into any of this white collar job's.. He was utterly stumped.

Fifteen years later, the guy was so disappointed with his life and began to shed tears. Because he finally realized that he has been walking aimlessly for so long, and that over the years he had become so enamored by everything that he could do – the endless array of possibilities – that he hadn’t done anything meaningful at all.  He finally learned that life isn't about possibility – anything is possible.  Life is about making a decision – deciding to do something that moves you.

So the guy, at his advance age, decided to buy some food stuff and ingredients from a local market and decided to open a little restaurant within his neighbourhood. As he cooked , each spices or ingredients he added to the food produce wonderful aroma, just as it use to be, many years ago. As he was done cooking, he tasted the food and smiled to himself that he has finally made a decision and  there was still some time left to revel in the magic that life is all about. In no time, his little restaurant grew to produce other chains of business. 

Morals:

In life, we're faced with countless decisions to make in life and by so doing we spend almost all our lives picking the most suitable one that best fit us. But deep down, we've an inbuilt talent that most times we fail to recognize probably because we see it as irrelevant talent compared to others and we bury it in search of other jobs. 

Life is about making a decision – deciding to do something that moves you. So, is high time we accept who we are and do what makes us happy and develop more on ourselves rather than chasing shadows.
