Life is not fair

in #life6 years ago

You don't need to be an odds maker to know how difficult it is to sustain hope in the face of life's many adversities. No one is immune to illness, divorce, unemployment or loneliness. Even the ones will view as successful - whether talking from your TV or walking down the aisle at your church are not above it. One way or another, we deal with the sharp collision of our external realities and our internal aspirations. The result is often a wreck of major proportions that leaves us limping through another day, more exhausted and discouraged than we can imagine. So, for those who might see this post and say there's nothing new I'll write that you have not heard before and Dismiss it as too idealistic or too difficult to believe, this post is simple, "Life is not fair".

No Matter who you are or what circumstances you find yourself in, it's guaranteed that some aspect of your life will seem to limit you but you can change the outcome of your life if you will refuse to give up hope and each day refine your vision of who you really are. Life doesn't conform to our wishes. In fact, it rarely goes exactly as we want it to go, but We mustn't abdicate the power to make choices that we do have.

Joseph is an example of how God can turn around even the worst situations. Left for dead by his brothers then sold into slavery, falsely accused of rape by his boss wife, thrown into prison but yet Joseph never gave up in his dreams. He held on to what God had reveal to him. Through it all, Joseph clung to Gods promises and faithfulness and saw his situation reverse 180 degrees, from prisoner to Prime Minister

Joseph maturity, born of suffering serves as a model for us. To his brothers, he said "

you intended to harm me but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now been done, the saving of many lives" (Gen, 50: 20).

Similarly, you must have faith to know that someday, you will be able to say same thing to your enemies, your prosecutors, those who called you a looser or hurt you along the way. When they intend to harm you, defeat you, God will use to build up to heal you and to secure your success.

  • What is your suffering moving you toward?
  • What is the basis of your passion that fuels your dream?
  • Do you dare to hope that God has the power to transform even the most horrendous events in your life into catalyst for unimaginable success?
