Benefits of Homeschooling Part 3
Hey there, Steemians! We just got settled after some overseas travel and are ready to share part 3 of our homeschool project, #BenefitsofHomeschooling.
#BenefitsofHomeschooling #7: Time
We've found that one of the most powerful gifts of homeschooling is time. Why? Because we thrive with self-directed learning. Time gives us the opportunity to delve deeply into a subject for a while until we feel satisfied with our experience. Time allows us to be self directed learners where we can set our own completion goals instead of using someone else's fixed schedule that may not match our learning needs. Time offers us freedom to learn in our own way, so learning feels natural.
#BenefitsofHomeschooling #8: The Un-official Homeschool Uniform
Madeline: Hayden, what benefit of homeschooling should we post today?
Hayden: You're looking at it.
Madeline: (initial confusion)
Hayden: (points at his pj's)
One of our favorite benefits of homeschooling is the unofficial homeschool uniform (PJ's). We know of many other homeschool families who also abide by the flannel pants and bathrobes dress code. Having a comfortable environment helps us stay focused (and warm too) as we continue to create more fun content for our projects and, yes, study the infamous 'Saxon Math'.
#BenefitsofHomeschooling #9: Real-time learning
We love the internet. It allows us the freedom to build and design our website, the ability to connect with our friends around the globe and get online help on our homeschooling. Today, we can learn just about anything from the internet. With new private online courses and lots of YouTube tutorials, we have everything we need at our fingertips to have the most up to date curriculum.
As we have been in what we call 'creation mode' we tend to not be on social platforms as often; so we really enjoy it when we have a free moment to post online. We are grateful that we have the freedom and flexibility to really delve deep in a subject. See you soon, Steemians! We have more awesome content coming your way!

A downvote was applied to partially counter earlier whale votes as an experiment to reduce whale domination of voting influence. Not intended to express an opinion on the content nor result in a net reduction of rewards or reputation (automated notice)
I believe it is inappropriate to flag/downvote an original post - especially one written by children. It is important that people (especially teens) feel encouraged to post, not discouraged because of being wrongly flagged based on an "experiment". Think twice before downvoting positive posts by young writers. The younger generation is the key to Steemit's success and adoption - along with other crypto-tech.
Hello smooth, what is a whale vote? We have not heard of this term.
