Homeless to Homeowner: Mother's Day Musings
I became a mother at the perfect time biologically, and possibly the worst time socio-economically. In college no less, the cliche to end all cliches.
I could go on and on, waxing poetic about how motherhood has changed me, widened my eyes, strengthened me, etcetera. Or I could just say that through 5 moves in three different states, packing my entire life in my car more than once, leaving and re-enrolling in University, and from homeless to homeowner, this person was with me every step of the way.
Together we learned to crawl, then walk, to run and to speak anything that is on our minds, even if it doesn't always make sense! Haha.
Here's to my first three years of motherhood, and to at least 30 more.
(Not that I want my son to die at 33, I'm trying to be poetic and rythmic and stuff... Give me a break :P, it's Mother's Day!)
