Write A List And Feel Fulfilled- How i shifted my disorganised thinking!

in #life9 years ago

I was never a fan of lists or anything that organised my chaos. I never liked to be organised or to feel un liberated in some way, but a while ago I had to do a list of things i liked for a blogging course i was doing, and I thought i would share this with you. I challenged myself begrudgingly, it sounds daft i know. Something about structure i resented. Anyway i am converted.

I do lots of lists now and they are important to me because they make me remember all the good things i love about being alive!

Well this one does! You should try your own, its really quite fulfilling.

Things I like:

  • Travel- Doesn’t matter where it is I like to travel. This country, another country  it doesn’t matter. I can make an adventure out of anywhere I go………..even      to take the bin out.
  • Reality TV- Yes I know………… love me or hate me for it. It’s the nosey parker in me. I like to understand how people work.
  • Vanilla Ice cream- I can eat it by the bucket load. If you want to win me      over……….buy me vanilla ice cream.
  • Function over fashion- I cannot abide spending more than 10 minutes in a morning      getting ready for work. I admit,  i only have to stroll downstairs as i work at home. (Although slightly jealous of immaculate looking people who  make the effort to look fabulous 24 hours a day)
  • Robert Downey Junior- Like is a very diluted word. I have an obsession with him and have done since my hormones kicked in.
  • Stationary- A weird fetish but I go all strange when I visit Rymans and have been caught lurking around the isles. It’s a day trip out.
  • Work- I have been lucky enough to choose my work, and had the opportunity to work in areas I love. My intention is to never work in any place I don’t like ever again!
  • Bonfire night/Halloween- My favourite time of the year. I don’t know why I just ve It. I always joke with the husband that he shouldn’t keep his Halloween mask on all year round as he will wear it out. He says it      wouldn’t wear out as much as my rubbish joke.
  • Tulips- Tulips are my favourite flowers. Me and my girlfriends once went to Amsterdam and nearly came back with matching tulip tattoo’s. Luckily we didn’t have time.
  • Dancing when tipsy- Let’s face it, when you had a few it becomes more      interesting…. to yourself and others.
  • My husband- I love my big lump but the scale of likability goes up when he presents vanilla Ice cream and Tulips.
  • My animals- They have a scale as well and likeability depends on whether my washing baskets gets peed on.
  • My big kids- They have a scale of like, it is like a see saw…….sometimes they like me sometimes they don’t! As they are now in their 20’s we are passing ships in the night. So the scale remains more in my favour as I haven’t the opportunity to be so annoying. I love them unconditionally.
  • Peace-I’m a lover not a hater and I enjoy getting in touch with nature where I can to draw on natural energy.
  • The Tarot- I love the tarot. I love the imagery of the cards. My favourite card………..the fool. I will let you decide why that may be.
  • Theatre- I am a local actress and director for my own theatre company. I also write the scripts.

I could write all day and bore you but i wont.

So that’s my list and a bit about me.
