This Diwali lets spread the happiness

in #life5 years ago

Diwali is a festival of lights and crackers, but have you been able to spread the happiness ?

Diwali is a festive of joy and happiness, but not all can afford. Especially, the ones, who do not have money to afford to buy and spend on lights and crackers. So this Diwali, we decided to distribute sweets, crackers to the people who work in our home. We wanted their little children also share some joy.

I bought a lot of sparklers and crackers for my kids, and this morning, we made packets of sparklers along with some sweets , to give it people who are serving us every day. We also gave them some money to them, so that, they can make a good meal today. They barely afford to even buy vegetables, and our little contribution may be able to help them some way. And it brings lot of joy to us to start the day with this noble activity.

In the afternoon, we have invited a orphanage, to whom we will make some monetary contribution as well as old dresses, that we have collected from our apartment. Few thousand rupees, along with some dresses may not be a great contribution, but that little means a lot to them. And we really feel happy to share the joy with others.

And the evening is reserved for the kids, after a great start to the day. Here is our remaining sparklers and crackers, still a lot to cover a hour or more.

The first one is the one I like most, its called a Garlic Cracker, as it looks like Garlic pieces. Kids are great fan of it, because it just needs to be dropped on the ground to make a little noise with some colors.

This year, the shops were isolated at a single place by the government which is good.

When we went to buy the crackers, a car lost it track , and one of its wheels got buried dip in the mud, and very few were interested to help. I along with one of my friend started requesting people, and were able to gather 5-6 people to help him. We uplifted the car from one side and the person was able to take it back. All our dress was filled with muds, but we were happy that we could help in.

Remember one thing, if you have done some good to others, good will come to you when you need it most. So spread the happiness, it just gets bigger if you spread across.

With this , I wish you all Happy and Safe Diwali. I will share our moments from the evening. Our apartment is decorated with lights, and a plan has been made to burst the crackers in between 6.30 - 8.30 pm at the front, followed by a grand dinner.
