some features of a good leader| Mark Zucks response to facebook data issue
A leader is someone who sees ahead of others and has a clear understanding of the future better than others.
A leader is someone who helps others discover their purpose.
A leader is someone who's willing to sacrifice for his people.
Different people have different definition and measurements for leadership, but in this article i will give you some attributes that a good leader should posses in other to function effectively
In other to function effectively as a leader, you should have any of the qualities listed below.
1. ACCOUNTABILITY:
Leadership is accountability. You can't be a leader if you're not ACCOUNTABLE. You must be accountable for your actions and be willing to take full responsibility when things go wrong.
2. INSPIRING:
As a leader, it is expected that you understand the future or project better than those you're leading. As a result, you're expected to help those you're leading to better understand what the future holds and how to prepare for that future.
3. HUMILITY:
Humility is a very important virtue and shouldn't be overlooked. You can't become a good leader without being humble at first.
Humility is the quality of having self-confident and awareness to recognize the value in other people without feeling threatened.
I know it's normal for people to interpret humility to mean weakness, but a truly humble person will always be greater than his master, not by choice, but by nature.
Humility is the only quality that can help you gain all the knowledge you require from whoever you're serving.
Even God himself is constantly looking for humble people so could bless them.
I'll resist the proud and give more grace to the humble. ~James 4:6
4. GOOD AT COMMUNICATING:
Being humble, inspiring and accountable is not enough. as a leader who's leading others, you should be able to communicate effectively the vision you have to your followers.
You can never be a good leader if you can't effectively communicate with words because words have in them the ability to motivate people and make them do what they didn't know they could do.
5. FOCUS
A good leader should focus on the goals in front of him and should be able to help those following him to manage their time so they could achieve their goal at the agreed time period.
6. USE THE RIGHT LANGUAGE AND DON'T TALK DOWN ON YOUR PEOPLE.
As a leader, you must understand that those you're leading are not as mature as you are. So it's important to correct them in love when correcting them.
Using the wrong words on them When they do wrong could ruin all the investment you've invested in them. Using abusive words on them could also make them emotional demoralized and could lead to poor output.
so guys, There are so many other qualities of leadership, but these are the few I just chose to share today, unto next time. Keep steeming, don't post your valuable contents on Facebook, bring them here.
Facebook has been giving out your data all these while, below is a link to his statement on this matter.

These are good qualities that are outlined here, and truly should be practiced by a good leader. As regards the Facebook issue, I think sensitive information should be kept private, how does one post his whole life on social media, and expect that things will go on, without your privacy being breached.?
Well, thank God for steemit
Technically, he didn't give away data to anyone. There was a data breach from a time when the company was in it's infancy.
You are a good leader. It takes one to know another good leader. Lovely points there and this is huge
Thank you for sharing @samstickkz

After reading your article; you surely qualify to be called one. Thank you immensely for all the support and help.
you are welcome dear
I agree with you on this post. Mark Zukerberg had to address the breach and he did through a Facebook post. But many feel that didn't go far enough.
Well, he's also addressing the media today via CNN.
Beyond that, the breach must be prevented.
The damage has already been done. How a single mistake can ruin everything
Really good to hear this. Mark is just an example life for success. He has good words. Thanks for sharing
