Honesty has a strong effect on relationships, it is a vital factor and one of the pillars of any long lasting relationship, whether amongst family members, friends or lovers.

It’s always better to speak the truth in love about a particular matter without fear of losing a relationship, when you know very well, your silence could actually ruin a life.

Sometimes when a matter comes up in a family and the truth tends to cause discomfort or tension, it is immediately swept under the carpet so that ‘’peace would reign’’.

Somehow, such issues never get resolved and frustration sets in eventually. Being honest might cause a temporal conflict but would guarantee trust on the long run at some point.

Pride could create a wall where there could have been a bridge. It is a poisonous syrup that kills slowly even without the victim realizing.

Humility is the only reviving antidote. When you are humble, you give honor to others even if they are seemingly inferior. Humility breeds patience, endurance and en gratia.

Trust creates a sense of security. A person would always feel more comfortable around someone he or she can open up to at anytime without feeling guilty or insecure.

There is no way a person can open up and reveal weakness, mistakes, deepest hurts or even deepest thoughts in an environment where confidentiality is not regarded as important.

Many relationships have been destroyed because of lack of trust. It is a known fact that relationships get stronger and better when people spend more time with each other especially physically.

Even conversations over the phone can never be compared to conversations held when both parties meet physically, phone calls can be very deceitful, its never the best way to ensure a sincere sustainable relationship.

Relationship building takes time. One must be able to invest not just money, but time in it. If there is to be no deficiency, then spending more time together must become a habit.
