Womyn's March 2018

A couple of days ago I posted the preview for the Womyn's March and while not as large as the year prior which drew 4.5 million worldwide, it still drew large crowds in major metropolitan cities as well as the world over.

In our city alone, LA drew in 500,000. Real numbers are still trickling in, but it can be stated that perhaps over 1million people marched this year. A very significant number indeed.

Obviously referring to our esteemed President's "locker room" talk from his days as a reality star.

Our Government almost shut down over this and I think denying people an ability to live in this country who are hardworking, smart and driven is one of the stupidest things anyone can do.

Now THAT'S funny.

Half this country would and did. They still would btw.

The obvious point in all of this is that people very much dislike our Commander in Chief. Full disclaimer, I am not a fan of him either, but my jets have cooled as I look at the problem being the whole system, not just one man who took advantage of that system.

More womyn and progressives are running this year that any other time in history.

And this man for one is fine with it. I believe womyn possess the ability to help bring our society to the next stage of enlightenment.

On that note, it is also equally important for them to understand their role as they grow into it. Men aren't going to change overnight simply because you hold a sign and you march. A lot of men will never change. Regardless, human rights are achieved even if some don't want to go along. That's just the way it is. We will always have challenges, it is up to us collectively to tackle those challenges.
