You're Beautiful
You may have all heard of the assertion that someone's beauty is only evident in the eyes of the people beholding them. But I ask you; what qualifies someone as beautiful? Some would be quick to say shape, skin tone, facial structure, dentition, dimples, eyes, and stuffs. But all these do not qualify someone as beautiful. Like my friend once said; your beauty is not a function of the size of your dress, but the size of your heart.
The inward beauty is the most important thing. Imagine someone with a fair skin but a dark heart, that person is not beautiful at all. What is the need of makeup when your attitude and character need salvation? Beauty starts from "within" to "without".
With all your outward beauty, your heart-emanated smile says a million things better than what your fair skin can say. Your attitude is of a better value than your beauty. Not just your attitude towards your superordinates, but to your subordinates too.
That is why; if you only show kindness and only smile with your superordinates, but always shows the dark side of you to your subordinates, then you're not actually nice in the first place. And remember; your beauty is a function of your niceness.
If someone is only nice to you (maybe for what they'll get from you), but they are not nice to the house maid, or gardener, or gate man, then their niceness is questionable.
I've always told people to look beyond what their natural eyes can see - because the outward appearance has a way of beclouding one's perception and sense of judgment. Try to look into the attitude and character.
Can I ask you a question? If you're meant to get a partner, and you're given a choice to pick from someone with a fair face but a nasty character, or someone with a just-okay face but a God-bless-you character, which one would you choose? Exactly; just to prove to y'all that the inner beauty is more sought out for than the outward beauty (which would definitely fade with the passage of time).
So my advice to y'all is to work on your inward beauty and then your light would shimmer brighter for all to take note of your beauty.
