Learning New Things

There is no one with an absolute knowledge of everything in the universe - this means that the repository of knowledge does not lie in just one person but in as many as are willing to keep learning. The truth is, the more you learn, the more you get better and the more you discover how ignorant you have been all these while.

Learning is not reserved for a particular age. As long as you are still alive, you have a fair chance to learn everyday. Everyone actually learns by learning. No one is as lost as the one that does not learn.

It takes an extensive amount of knowledge for anyone (and that includes you) to realize their own ignorance. When someone knows that he lacks knowledge, then that is the first step to learning. However, when someone lacks knowledge and they are not even aware that they lack knowledge and don't even care, then that person if far from redemption.

In living, you should do it as if you are ready to die but when learning, you should do it as if you have the whole eternity to live. In that way, you will still see reasons to keep acquiring knowledge.

Someone may be quick to forget what he is told because what he is told is only an information, but no one will be quick to forget what he has learnt over time. Experience comes with opportunity to learn more things.

Education (and learning) has no end and continues till death. What this means is, anytime you quit learning, you start dying.

It is okay to start with an empty mind but for you to make impact, it must be converted to an open mind. One way to convert your empty mind into an open mind is by constantly learning new things.
