Top-selling phones in the first quarter of the year 2018
Despite the resounding failure that many augured in the market due to its high sales price, the iPhone X, was the best selling phone during the first quarter of the year with 16 million units according to Strategy Analytics.
The iPhone X is not the only model that is doing well for Apple, the second, third and fourth positions are also led by the iPhone 8 with 12.5 million units; the iPhone 8 Plus with 8.3 million while the iPhone 7 gets 5.6 million units.
Surprisingly, the fifth place was occupied by Xiaomi and its Redmi 5A, a cell phone of the mid-range that perfectly defines the essence of the Chinese giant.
with a sales figure that would reach 5.4 million units shipped globally, Xiaomi surpassed Samsung, which with its Galaxy S9 Plus sold 5.3 million units and remained in the sixth place of the quarter.
