GIRLS ARE MORE INTELLIGENT THAN BOYS

Intelligence is based on basic mental problem solving skills, and the ability to interpret data and to process it as knowledge and to demonstrate it when the time comes.
It is said that:

“The truly intelligent person is one who can pretend to be a fool in front of a fool who pretends to be intelligent”.

Effect of Rate of Maturation in Opposite Genders:

It has been scientifically proven that girls, when compared to boys of the same age group, on average, mature faster than the boys their age. The brain of girls starts to mature at the age of 10 while boys, on the other hand, have to wait till 15 before they could even start competing with girls. Girls are much more mature when it comes to thinking, learning, understanding and remembering. But it does not necessarily mean that boys are not mature, it just means that the rate at which girls grow is relatively faster.

In Terms of Higher Academic Score:

Girls are more dominant when in it comes to learning thus in academic fields they are indeed superior while boys show signs of dominance in other fields depending on their interests. Since boys are physically stronger than girls they tend to be better in sports, but in the end the one with more practice wins. In many ways girls tend to show that they are smarter than boys. They study most of time and many a times they obtain better marks than boys. But if boys try to work as hard as girls they might even become better than girls, but generally speaking girls have shown better results than boys their age.

Girls also get good grades in subjects that appeal to their memory that is why they are seen mostly in medical as well as teaching fields. While boys choose other fields such as maths and do better at it than girls.

Difference on an Emotional Level:

Girls are emotionally sensitive that they can read the emotions of others easily, and tend to empathize better, they know when a man is happy, sad, excited or upset. Girls tend to get hurt emotionally and have a hard time controlling their emotions, unlike boys who, even when hurt, do not show much emotions.

In Terms Of Tallness:

Recent studies have proved that most men are taller than women, and taller people are more intelligent.
According to study:

“Men tend to have more connection within their brain hemisphere, thus restricting their thoughts to simpler or more basic levels, while women have more spanning in that region allowing them to be better at multitasking”.

Females tend to have better verbal skills compared to men. Thus are shown to be more talkative. Men have difficulty in performing two tasks that are controlled by the same brain region while women can easily perform two tasks at a time. It has also been shown that female surgeons are more likely to listen to music as they operate while males are more distracted towards music while concentrating on a task.

In Terms of Interests:

Girls tend to read more than boys. And spend more time on doing their homework unlike boys who spend most of their time playing video games and watching movies.
Study shows that girls are more committed and motivated towards their work. They take more pride and tend to do any work given to them properly, plus they are better organized to meet their deadlines when compared to boys who are a bit more lax in this department.

In Terms Of Size of Brain:

A study shows that men’s brain as compared to women’s is bigger in size. Just like their bodies. But a bigger brain does not prove to be more intelligent.
Women tend to be complex in their thinking whilst men are rather more organized. Thus women tend to create more scenarios in their heads sometimes losing sight of what has been asked of them whilst men can come up with basic, to the point answers. It means that it has to work harder as more regions of the brain are being used simultaneously. The more active the brain is the more rest it needs
The female brain collects information five times faster than the male brain. Even though their brain is smaller than males.

Conclusion:

Girls tend to do better than boys because of the social stigma attached to the different sexes and expectations of society. Girls undergo much more pressure than boys even though it is the boys who have to be the bread winners of their families. It is just a criteria created by society, but most people fail to notice it.
