Take note of how you dress to protect your image.
In today's world, people will judge you by how you look, contrary to the saying Never judge a book by it's cover. Playing around with your appearance can give you an advantage at a job interview, in marketing, at a date, simply because of the first impression people get after looking at what your wearing. How you dress says much about you and will be the yard stick on how people address you. So how do we take advantage of this gap to move the odds in our favor.
Let your image drive you to what you decide to wear next. Your reputation defines who you are and it needs protecting. Choose a dress code that falls in line with the opinion people will have about the image you've built. This will give you confidence amongst all kinds of people who will give you the audience your dressing commands. Your dressing can even play most of the work for you in connecting you to bigger opportunities from people who start trusting you after learning you are protective of your reputation.
Regulate how you dress to win the opportunities that will come knocking at your door.
This is true. When I was younger, I was of the opinion that people should not judge you by your appearance. While this is ideal, it is not how people behave. Appearance makes a difference in what opportunities people offer. If you are going to associate with them, they want to know that you will represent them well. Furthermore, if you do not care for yourself, you will likely not care for them and their interests.
Taking advantage of the prejudice of appearance can work in your favor if you dress well and present yourself well.
Dressing speaks lots about our image
