Jagannath Puri Rath Yatra Will Starts Today
Today the Rath Yatra has started in Puri. Lord Jagannath has gone out to visit the city and to give a glimpse to his devotees. People have reached very far to join this grand journey. Before the start of the journey, God made aarti from 108 zones. To begin the journey at 12 noon, there will be a quote of a yoke. The four people who will bid for the most expensive bills will get the privilege of first handing the yoke. Money will be offered in the temple as Dakshina.

The rath yatra is decorated with a special kind of flowers. This flower has been imported only from Calcutta for special travel. The rath yatra will be covered by Haridwar, Noida and Sonipat. Also, Roorkee Band and Samalkha Band will also be included.
Know What is the Choice of Rath Yatra:
During this Rath Yatra, Lord Jagannath, Bhagwan Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra go to Gundicha temple from Jagannath temple while sitting in the chariot. Let us tell you, Lord Balabhadra and Goddess Subhadra are considered to be a Jagannath temple, whereas the Gundicha temple is called Lord Jagannath's aunt's house.
