PwP (Person with Parkinson's) #life

When most get up in the morning the last thought is, how am I going to do this movement or that action? One of the symptoms of PD is called Dystonia. This is when I am experiencing muscle set clenching...in other words my brain tells the muscle to relax however the muscle sends some freaked out message back...which leads to spontaneous tremors...then my brain sends a signal to the muscle to clench and I need it to turn off. As I don't want it to clench...The shadow within...
I have recently discovered that relief comes through the endocannabiniod system.

Somehow the cannabinoid receptors located throughout the body are part of the endocannabinoid system which are involved in a variety of physiological processes including appetite, pain-sensation, mood and memory. Cannabinoid receptors are of a class of cell membrane receptors in the G protein-coupled receptor superfamily. As is typical of G protein-coupled receptors the cannabinoid receptors contain seven transmembrane spanning domains, Cannabinoid are activated by three major groups of liglands: endocannabinoids, produced by the mammillary body; plant cannabinoids (such as cannabidiol , produced by the cannabis plant); and synthetic cannabinoids (such as HU-210). All of the endocannabinoids and plant cannabinoids are lipophilic, such as fat soluble compounds.
