DAY 3 of 7 day challenge to MOVE THAT BODY - quick and easy abs!
A fun pic from the Bunny 5K run ... I love running races with my daughter! We both placed in our age divisions :)
So anyway, here we are at Day 3. It's only 7 days and it's just to get you (and me) up and moving the body.

They say if we don't use it, we lose it! And that's especially true of muscle/toning in the body. The body is pretty amazing though, and even if we haven't exercised in a long time, something called muscle memory allows the body to experience muscle gains quicker once we start exercising again, meaning you're not really starting from square one.
So today its abs day! Don't worry it will be over before you know it!
I'm going to revert to Darebee.com for assistance with exercise illustrations once again. Darebee is a not for profit site dedicated to giving people the tools to become healthier and they are allowing me to use their illustrations.
So WARMUP
And the abs workout ... repeat just 2 times!
Remember, go through the abs workout 2 times only!
Now just COOL DOWN ...
Lay on your back and bring your knees in to your chest. Wrap your arms around your knees and breathe ... hold for 20 seconds
With your knees still in to your chest, drop the knees to your left side and hold for 20 seconds
Bring knees back to the middle
Drop your knees to the right side and hold for 20 seconds
...and you are done for the day!
Getting tired just reading about the exercises ;-)
