Great story. There are a ton of opportunists in crypto and people with questionable motives. I agree it's important to be careful and probably not risk anything you cannot afford to lose. Of course, the potential upside can be very enticing, too.
having followed this particular guy for some time, I don't think its so much that his motives are questionable - rather just the maturity level / character. I do sense his intentions are in an honourable place, though the pieces just don't add up - and even if it were a profit opportunity, the values conveyed through this experience are something I'd rather not put my money into, no matter what the upside... onwards & upwards...
I agree , if you Research what you don't understand then you will know what you were missing before you lose what you never had. The keys to life are held in the block chain of time 🔑😇🐺
As someone who recently undertook the "enlightened approach to life," I would say how you feel about it is in direct response to expectations. If it wasn't really about the money, then fuck him, clearly he didn't respect you. If it was about the money, I would have had firm details in place beforehand including how much and when I would be paid. I'm not trying to be critical, just giving my feedback of the scenario as I read it. Personally I have several good friends I have never met in person and I have met at least 100 times that many people that are too asleep to know what it means to actually care how their actions impact someone else. Personal advice: Fuck the past and the future, live in the moment, deep breath, and namaste.
Just something I notice, but all the posts of Michael Todd remind me of my cousin... the charisma, the flashes of anger, the lack of respect for other people's time or creativity. My cousin was on Adderall, and I think that perhaps he might be on the same stuff.

Yes, I understand. And some people just have promising ideas, but no ability to deliver.
