I like your thinking chbartist. It's like the old cliche'-in a way-that, one can't see the trees for all the bushes-and only when one decides to take a step out into the cold does the picture begin to come into focus. Rid yourself of the clutter by getting rid of all non-essentials. Like taking a sabbatical on the river or, in the desert, without all of life's comforts/trappings. I truly value the perspective and have always maintained that that's where we went wrong (in the beginning-whether you believe in evolution/creation or, big banging,) had the first 'thoughters' taken more of a lateral step rather than the easiest or, most obvious choice of going to the source of: water, energy, warmth, sustenance etc., and commmanded the elements to then become subject to their will, well, we would surely have reached a much higher or, more advanced level of communing. Just my simplistic thoughts on the issue. Perhaps a little dream like but then, nothing ever happened/materialized without the dream firstly being advanced to a more tangible mode of thought.
