Luck, talent, or intelligence?

What should I do to succeed? Are the most successful people the most fortunate in society?

A search for more than 1000 university careers over the last 40 years utilized an information model and found that fate was the biggest factor in the success of these people, not talent, neither work nor passion. Destiny!

Scientists came to this conclusion after building an IT simulation that has successfully monitored 1,000 virtual persons during their 40-year career from the age of 20 to 60. As in the real world these people had different levels of talent like intelligence, creativity, perseverance, ambition and wealth. These virtual people suffered "lucky" and "unlucky" events during their career.

When presented with a lucky opportunity they used talent, intelligence and, by joining a range of skills, climbed to the professional level.

In the real world this "moment of fate" can be a casual union with an influential person in the professional field, but if they encounter an equivalent situation, let's say a disease, these virtual persons would be part of the wealth.

After passing these 40 virtual lives, scientists classified each of the people to see if they resembled each other. They confirmed that "Pareto's Principle" or Rule 80/20 implies that wealth focuses on the hands of a small number of people.

In the real world, 8 richest people own the same wealth as the 3,600 million poorer people. In simulation, 20% of the people who rose to a better position possessed 44% of total success.

They also found that talented people tend to be more successful than people with normal abilities, but rarely were more successful in general. In more than 100 simulation executions, the winning character was considered a "mediocre agent".

This high-performing individual was 128 times more successful than the vast majority of talented people. So the study seems to support a premeditation that suggests that everything in life is lucky.
