Those who succeed do not remember how it was to be a failure!

All those that have succeeded dish out lot of advice about being positive and taking on challenges.

The worst one is to say 'you have a choice', while this is true for many cases, there are situations when there may not be a choice (well, if you want to stay human anyway).

For example, if you are a father working your ass off on a dead end job because you have to feed your family and send your kids to school and you do not have the time or privilege to break this pattern at this time, and some snob head success figure comes along and says 'you always have a choice', imagine what goes through that person who is already bogged down by life!

Even those who have gone through lot of hardships tend to forget once they reach the other side. They forget how it was to be in those shoes.

Og Madino, RIP, was one of the authors I liked because he never lost touch with how it was to be down on your knees in front of life's demands and it reflects in every word he has penned.

Other self-help gurus, especially those who have succeeded on a grand scale tend to be way above the ground level and their advice is simply 'undermining/demeaning/insulting' others' problems.

We all want to succeed, we all want to get to a life of freedom of time and each of us are in different stages of that fight and it would be nice to get uplifting advice as long as it is not too fluffy and condescending!
