Get more things done by mimicking Nature! | Haz más cosas imitando a la Naturaleza!

There is much information on how to avoid procrastination or to plane better your activities to do more. Now, I share a simple idea that helps me to make things faster. Please, think about the following two questions:
Is it possible to split the atoms?
Are you going to get energy by splitting the atoms?
If you do a little research, you will find that “nuclear fission” occurs when a heavy element divides to form lighter ones, releasing a huge amount of energy in the process. Also, remember the larger core splits into two asymmetrically parts. Using this analogy, I propose to divide hard tasks into two parts, one of 60% of the effort and another to 40% — mimicking Nature.

Hay mucha información sobre cómo evitar la postergación de las cosas o planificar mejor tus actividades para hacer más. En este post, comparto una idea simple que me ayuda a hacer las cosas más rápido. Por favor, piense en las siguientes dos preguntas:
¿Es posible dividir los átomos?
¿Vas a obtener energía al dividir los átomos?
Si investigas un poco, descubrirás que la “fisión nuclear” se produce cuando un elemento pesado se divide para formar elementos más ligeros, liberando una gran cantidad de energía en el proceso. Además, recuerde que el núcleo más grande se divide en dos partes asimétricas. Usando esta analogía, te propongo dividir las tareas difíciles en dos partes, una del 60% del esfuerzo y otra del 40%, imitando a la Naturaleza.
By splitting a problematic task into two lighter tasks, you’ll focus on a hard thing (the part of 60%) and a lighter one (the part of 40%) at the same time. Make sure the Part-2 is more enjoyable than Part-1. For example, If you are writing your Ph. D Thesis you can discuss your results (Part-1) and enjoy editing some images of that section (Part-2). Based on this, I’m always reading two books simultaneously, one related to science and a novel. Having finished the small tasks, you will have more energy to do other amazing things.

Al dividir una tarea problemática en dos tareas más livianas, te enfocarás en una cosa difícil (la parte del 60%) y una tarea más liviana (la parte del 40%) al mismo tiempo. Asegúrese de disfrutar más de la Parte 2 que la Parte 1. Por ejemplo, si está escribiendo su tesis de doctorado, puedes estar analizando tus resultados (Parte 1) y a la par disfrutar de la edición de algunas imágenes de esa sección (Parte 2). En base a esto, siempre estoy leyendo dos libros simultáneamente, uno relacionado con la ciencia y una novela. Una vez que haya terminado las tareas pequeñas, tendrá más energía para hacer otras cosas sorprendentes.
