Winning an argument with a friend is often counterproductive. They’re more likely to end up resenting you than conceding their point.
You might try to give a friend advice. He believes the opposite of your advice.
You could argue with him and tell him a million reasons why you’re right. If he is like most people, he will simply do the opposite out of spite.
Be careful which fights you decide to win. It’s smart to let losers win every once in a while, so they don’t revolt against you.
If you know someone powerful has had a terrible day, it may be a good idea to let them win.
You will be the light at the end of their tunnel. They will not forget it.
Be liked by those in power, and you'll soon find you’re better suited to acquire some yourself.
Whatever you need, gather it. Whatever you want, chase it. Whenever you can, give it back.

@antoniolucio I agree! It's a charity to grant someone their moment of pride, instead of winning the argument and getting nothing. Also, you often would be surprised that they will do exactly what you expected them to after your approval of their point of view and receiving a smile from you. There is a funny saying in my culture "The greatest person on earth has the biggest stomach because it can swallow everything and digest it alike. " Think of a strong stomach that you get, and it can churn the toughest food on earth. @riskybiscuit well done with your post.
