It is not even your duty to make everyone happy. You haven't come into this world to please others. You have your own duty. And one of them is to make yourself happy. When you are happy, your beloved ones will automatically be happy for you.
There are some toxic people around us. No matter what you do for them, they will always talk behind you. They will never admit that you have ever done any good for them. So, just let them be. Don't make them a part of your life or thoughts. You just focus on yourself. There are a lot of things that can make you happy, keep you in peace. Search for those life forces. make your life worth living.
