RE: The Elites Are Pushing For World War III: Here's What We Can Do To Stop It
How dare you suggest we interrupt the football game or the Creepy Dead (or whatever the name of that shit is) for people that we don't know. Our problem is that we're too comfortable. We've been anesthetized by a constant barrage of graphic images from movies, the "news", video games, etc. that we're numb. We don't feel anything anymore, we all suffer from empathy fatigue...this has been going on since Vietnam. In the entire history of the US, we've been at war for all but about 35 years! Really good article...some of us are awake, I hope it's enough! Upvoted
I'm 100% behind you on that. I think that it is all these things you speak of that instill within us this underlying belief that humans are destined to be at war for eternity. It is this fallacious belief that then prevents anyone from having faith that we can make change, so the natural thing to do to protect yourself from feeling powerless is simply to stop giving a shit.
Thanks a lot for the message. I was starting to wonder if anyone had even read this yet.. Glad to know my day wasn't completely wasted-
I enjoyed it and upvoted!
I received another comment since as well so perhaps more people are reading it than I thought.
Still, I feel Steemit is predominantly compiled of the more enlightened of our species anyway, so this particular article is perhaps best suited for other platforms where most are still sleep-walking around.
I will do it regardless though, perhaps it will even help to begin to establish a following.
I'm currently in the process of creating some accounts on other social media so I can share it there also, though as I will not have a following yet I'm not sure if I'll be wasting my time.
I've been following you for a while. I also post on Gab.ai...they are a twitter alternative and seem to at least have a more open minded group if not necessarily more intellectually attuned.
@thecryptofiend was also suggesting I should make an account on there. I had initially said that I don't really have the time to be amassing a following on there, but now I am going to commit to making one.
