Take Responsibility Of Your Action
Do you know what is the easiest thing to do?
Making excuses and blaming others or something else for your failure. Yeah, it feels good when you make excuses like I don't have any time, I have no money to invest, I don't have a rich dad and so on.
You lie to yourself just to make you feel good and convince others that because of something else, you couldn't do it. Maybe other people will be convinced due to your "extreme" convincing power. At the end you are the one who is going to suffer for your action.
You have a lot of stuff in your house. You don't use them now. Still you are buying a lot of useless stuff. Why? It's because it makes you feel good or show it to someone else that you're supper cool.
Okay, then how long will it make you feel good?
Just after a short period of time you will go out and do the same thing - spending money to buy things that do not bring any value. If you keep doing this over and over again, please don't blame that you don't have money to invest.
You can save your money and invest that. You have to think in the long term to grow. What you do now, that has an impact in your life. Let's go shopping and buy what you really need. At the same time start saving and investing the rest of your money. You will see your little savings and investment will be huge in some day and you will be surprised. That will definitely add value to your life.
It's a blessing that we live in a great era.
We have internet. Now we can do job 9 to 5. Come home after office and work 7 PM to 1 AM. We can do side hustle. Our grandfather or grandmother did not have time. You can do whatever you like and make a living. Be grateful and happy that you have a dad. Many people lost their dad at their early age. So, compare to that you are in a much better place.
You cannot grow and move forward by making lame excuses. If it is your mistake, it's yours. Take the responsibility. Learn from your mistake and go on. Your mistakes can help you make better decision in future because you know what works.
It is YOU who can make the change in your life. Take responsibility of your action and be yourself. You will get there soon or later.

As a minimalist, I try my best to avoid buying anything and everything, many times, I would even say no to free gifts if I know I have no use of it whatsoever.
There is one good rule which I learn from an article, if there is something you like (which is not a necessity), then apply the 30 day rule where you don't buy the item immediately but wait for a full month. If you are still interested in the item and willing to go through the hassle to purchase the item, then go ahead. Many times, we would either forget about it or too lazy to buy the item.

Sounds interesting! If you really want something, you will not forget even after 90 day. :)
Make your decision wisely! It's the choice we make the way we want to live.
