Got a call about a huge CD collection if I wanted to come into the shop and take a look. Let see what we can find today at the local thrift shop!

That would be time consuming task. Going through piles of CD.
@trendygran, its easy once you've done it enough times.
The thing I worry about CDs or DVDs is really sorting them out and figuring out how to sell them to where it would be worth the time.
The other day my gf brought a dvd home from her parents house , don't recall what movie but some old movie. We realized we don't have a DVD player lol. I no longer have any video games which can play them, I threw out any old DVD players I had and these days even laptops don't have a DVD drive. Crazy how quickly technology moves
I was shocked even in 2014 I tried to move 3 rigs to the U of Arizona dorms and me and the dude living there were going to split the coins because he had free power and everything got so unprofitable it didn't make sense to mine if you were paying for power. We had to move some files onto one of the rigs and no one had a thumb drive. I was kind of blown away by that and the issue was we couldn't get the machines connected to the Internet so we needed to move some files onto a thumb drive but it was like even at that point no one was using those. I still have a bunch I just forgot to bring one with me.
@brianphobos there are app's for your phone like FBA Scan where you scan the barcodes to find value. @rulesforrebels most PS3-PS4 will play dvd's
Yeah but I would think the numbers would be so thin it would still be tough. I see the bin at Wal-mart with DVDs and it is like $3 for a lot of moves... crazy.
The days when CD's become vintage. Crazy.
Getting there man, getting there!
My gf's brother and I were just talking about DVD collections over the weekend. It's funny how quickly technology makes things obsolete.
We were remembering back to when everyone had big books of CD's and/or DVD"s and everyone used to take so much pride in building up their collection. Crazy how now all that is on our phone
Yeah man, I bought a huge dvd collection last year of like 1,200 dvd's. This was a amazing collection, so sold for $60+
