Even though nature is repetitive, it's reputation with variance. No two trees are identical. The problem with cities, is they clone everything. Why do all the sidewalks have to look the same?
Why do the curbs have to be the same height? Why do they make all the houses look the same? We should retrofit the suburbs to make them more livable. To save nature, we should discourage immigration to large cities, and get people to move to small towns instead.

I agree completely, very well said. There is a lot of scope for improvement in cities too though. A lot of greening up is achievable with roof gardens, vertical wall gardens and use of wasteground as is done so effectively in places like Cuba.
