Perspective is extremely important... and I think a lot of people tend to forget that there are often more than two sides to a story. The two sides tend to be biased in their own ways... the third side merely observes the facts and events that unfold, and makes no judgment.
Exactly.
My second writing job was in journalism. And for a large News outlet. I was taught that we must remain unbiased in our reporting yet there is no such thing as an unbiased news report.
Talk about conflicting conundrums ;)
Unbiased news report?... Loll.. Its almost impossible. But, a room should always be created for doubt. At least, it can help the subject a little (emotionally).....
