Icicles and snow in Colorado.

Growing up in Houston, it never really got cold enough to create any real icicles. Here in Colorado, we've become accustomed to wild and crazy weather swings. Three days ago it was t-shirt weather here. The very next day it snowed so heavy that I had to shovel my sidewalk three times(plus my wife got out and shoveled once as well).

We got about nine inches total accumulation where we live in Louisville.
I am amazed at the thick girth of these icicles

I never though much about the true danger of falling icicles, but now that I've sen how massive these can get, I'll be cautious whenever I have to walk under one of these death spikes.

FULL DISCLOSURE: All images are taken by me, I wanted to share these images, but these images do not show our most recent snowfall.
