True story chanting saves our lives

This is a true story that happens in the late 1980’s. Our friend with a catering business offers to teach us a chant. She is a black woman practicing Buddhism. The universe must have sent her because our friend taught us this chant and it saved our lives.
A chant is a repeated mantra and you do not have to be in any religion to practice singing them. The words are usually in Sanskrit and have been spoken or sang for thousands of years.
Sanskrit is an ancient language.

Researching the words to this chant Nam Myoho Renge Kyo I came across this.
“When we chant Nam-myoho-renge-kyo, our problems and sufferings all turn into energy for our happiness, into fuel for our advancement.” source

My story
As far as my story in the late 1980’s we were in a new Mazda RX7. For those of you that remember that model it is low to the ground sports type car. We enter a parking garage while chanting this chant.
You can believe this or not. My husband is speeding through the parking garage in Houston, Texas while we chant, Nam Myoho Renge Kyo. I look up and see a heavy steel chain appearing out of nowhere. It is heading straight for the windshield. There is no time to duck or even hit the brakes. At that moment the chain lifts up clearing the car. My husband and I look at each other in amazement.
Watch your words they are powerful.
I look at chanting as praying in a song whatever the language.
