Nice work keep it up and i HOPE that Youtube will get their act together soon and STOP shadow banning you and others like you.

Just finished the video, great episode. It took a while to get verified on steemit but I’m only here because you mentioned it. It’s way more intricate than I was expecting. Going to take a while to get the hang of for sure

The learning curve for steemit / dtube is a bit of a hurdle at first. Take some time to search for tutorials on how to use the platform and format posts, insert images, etc. A couple hours of research and practice over the course of a week will be enough to get most people comfortable.

Back up your passwords, keys, etc. That is the most important thing. Your account is also a financial account, what seems like pocket change you earn now can become very valuable months in the future. The beauty of crypto, you are one of the very early adopters. Big rewards for those who are in before the mainstream adoption occurs.

Thanks for the tips, greatly appreciated. Yeah I have been following bitcoin a little but didn’t have any crypto currency, or an account, until now. Do you recommend bitcoin over etherium more what?

BTC, BCH, LTC, XMR, DASH, DGB are all forms of money, primarily.

Ethereum, NEO, EOS and several others I'm not too familiar with are Smart Contract enabling software platforms that use a native token as a utility to access and use the software.

Many other tokens like Kucoin, COSS, Rialto, Veritaseum, SALT, Populous are more akin to companies that either use the tokens to perform some income generating action or the token is a means of automatically accounting and distributing profits generated by the company. These have more in common with stocks or shares in traditional markets than money, although they all move over blockchains.

This was a intro article I wrote earlier this winter than goes into a bit more depth in explaining them if you're interested in diving deeper. Some other good info on my @bp9930 account regarding digital assets too. It's hard to say which one is best, they all do things differently so it's more a matter of finding ones you understand and are confident in the business model.

That’s some awesome information, I’m about to go read your article now. I gave you a few follows so I can hopefully repay the favor when I get some credit. Thanks again it feels good to have some separation from the straw man haha

The only thing I would add to the suggestions above is that Bitcoin (at the moment) is so popular that the mining network is running several thousand (100K+) transactions behind. The negative effect of this, is that people are competing to get their transaction written onto the next block by upping the mining fee donation. In some cases this can be as much as $20-$50USD, so very expensive to send small amounts from one wallet to another. If you leave the fee set to a more reasonable level (<$1) it can take days to get picked up by the network. In my opinion, Litecoin or DASH would be better currencies to use for small ($1000 or less) transactions at the moment.

Great show Mike

Thank you

I agree with loucrates - between steemit & dtube seems difficult to navigate & understand even after reading instructions - thanks for all you are informing us of!

This place is confusing 😂 how long of a learning curve are we talking?

Here I am. Always listen to your vids on YouTube. I’m hoping D.Tube will be a better platform for all. YouTube has gotten so bad over time. So thankyou very much for the link and look forward to more of your videos. Hopefully Censorship will not contaminate D..Tube. Especially,Thanks for all you do.

How do you share tube videos to twitter?

Ha, how obvious is yt spiteful censorship . . .even little ole me is having comments shadow banned but thanks to you, Michael, we tech-amateurs continue our free expression on dtube/steemit. I will catch up eventually with using block chain sites.

hopefully, we are hooked up to where I can do you some good now. I've sent you a couple posts. All this computer shit is tuff to learn. I'm not a spring chicken I started this stuff late in life. Never wanted to learn anything back in the late 60's just worked my ass off. So keep it going, bring it on Brother!!!
