That damn bridge
That damn bridge
The Krimpenerwaard lies in the middle of the rivers, the Lek and the IJssel.
Many people in the Krimpenerwaard have to pass the Algerabrug.
This is a bridge over the river the IJssel and it connects the citizens who are living in the Krimpenerwaard to Capelle a/d IJssel and Rotterdam.
Many people have to cross this bridge for their job every day.
As the number of citizens in the Krimpenerwaard is growing the trafficjam from and towards this bridge is too.
And in spring and summertime the chaos with traffic caused by this bridge is getting worse.
The bettering weather generates more and more
sailboats for wich the bridge have to be opened.
The Algerabrug had become the busiest local road of the Netherlands.
It’s not hard to imagine that all this traficjams, which stuck the trafic in quit a big area, cause a lot of frustration.
So I made a post in twitter when I was irritaded again about my lost of time in a trafficjam caused by an opened Algerabrug.
But this time a local newspaper picked up my message......
It says: “The Algerabrug is opened for a longtime again. I hope that the trafficjam will grow so big that it reaches Rotterdam. Maybe then they will start working on a solution.
I hope the politics are picking up this kind of signals and start working on better and more traffic connections across the rivers.
Now I am going to enjoy the beautifull environment of my village in the Krimpenerwaard.

You have a minor misspelling in the following sentence:
It should be which instead of wich. How could I miss the button with my thick fingers! 😂
