Why you should never use washing up liquid on a chopping board
We use them to prepare a lot of food products: raw meat, vegetables, raw fish much more - making chopping boards an integral part of any kitchen.
With this in mind, it's pretty easy to see why the hygiene levels of chopping boards have been researched a lot.
A chopping bord has been found to have 200% more fbacteria than the average toilet seat,
so everyone wants to clean them as good as they can afcourse
Most of us will wash our chopping boards in the same way we wash everything else - hot, soapy water and a lot of washing up liquid.
but washing up liquid can't penetrate the cold surface of a chopping board and give it the good clean it needs.
you need to Soak chopping boards in bleach after every use , that will make sure it greats the great clean it needs
