A question that we will not answer now. Why do not we reach wealth? Why do we succumb to the possibility of advancing in the attainment of wealth?

Greetings dear steemitnauts. In general we all want or aspire wealth, of one kind and another but we aspire.

Some time ago I read a book by George Samuel Clason called "The Richest Man in Babylon". It is a relatively short book with very concrete teachings. I was struck by two points that seem to me the most important, which could be summarized in two great teachings. The First Preserve a part of what you earn for yourself and two that what you kept for yourself, work for you.

Regarding the first point, reserve a part of what you earn for yourself. In principle you have to understand that not a part of that money you receive, to spend it on you, but it would be to save them, save them, accumulate them. In theory the approach is quite easy.

The percentage of how much you can save, by one way or another has been determined by 10 percent, which is a parameter shared by much from a religious point of view and it is that tithe of which much is spoken, but which must be for you. In the book, the author points out that only one part should be set aside, after having covered all the expenses and even what is necessary for recreation. Once all these expenses are considered, something should remain and you should be careful that there is something left for you. Not for eating, for drinking or for luxuries. That part saved will become a child or employee who will work for you.

The book talks about money, or that is how it is understood. That is a part of the salary or of those that you earn for a job. The Venezuelan reality makes it almost impossible to save a part of your salary, given that the level of inflation and the high cost of the vine, eats any attempt to save something. But this opens the creativity for the purposes that I can keep, so that it works for me.

It would not necessarily be money, it could be some kind of merchandise, or start some venture with cryptocurrencies, like steemit. Then from that profit in steemit you should keep something.

Then, we managed to save. what do we do now?

The Gospel presents a parable, where a distribution of talents is made, which was made among several. One was given five, the other four, and so on until the one who was given a single talent. Happening that the one who received the least, it occurred to him to bury the talent, for fear of losing it. For this action this employee was reprimanded and expelled, for not having done anything with his talent.

So it is with the advice of the Richest Man of Babylon, the task is to make the accumulated work and that accumulated becomes a worker for you, make it become a child and that child you many more children.

As I said before, in theory it is quite easy. But in practice it is a bit more difficult, and if it were not so there would not be so much poverty, both material and spiritual.
