The word Hindu was not prevalent a thousand years ago.

The meaning of the word Sindhu is river or watershed. On this basis, a river was named Sindhu river, which flows through Ladakh and Pak.

The word 'Hindu' and 'Arya' are mentioned in the Persian book 'Avasta' of the Persians, Iranians of Persia.

Linguists believe that the sound of the Hind-Aryan languages ​​turns into 'H' sound of Iranian languages. Even today, 'sa' is pronounced 'h' in many areas of India. Hence, the Sapta Sindhu converted into the Avestan language (the language of the Parsis) and became converted into an elated Hindu. For this reason, the Iranians gave Hindu names to those living in the east of the river Indus. But people of Sindh province of Pakistan are still called Sindhu or Sindhi.

On the other hand, other historians believe that in the time of Chinese traveler Huansang, the word Hindu originated from Indu. Indu is synonymous with Moon. The basis of Indian astrological calculation is the moon. So the people of China started saying 'Indians' or 'Hindu' to Indians.

सनातनमेनमहुरुताद्या स्यात पुनण्रव्
That is - Sanatan says that, which is still renewed today.

The meaning of 'Sanatan' means eternal or 'always residing', that is, whose name is not endless.

Jesus did not vote before Jesus,

Islam did not vote before Muhammad.

The Bhagwat story of Shri Krishna was not before the birth of Shri Krishna, that is, Krishna Bhakti is not Sanatan.

Ramayana and Ramcharitmanas of Shri Ram were not before birth of Shri Ram, that is, Shri Ram Bhakti is not eternal.

Even Sri Lakshmi (if you think according to the prevailing truth-false fiction), then before sea churning, ie Lakshmi Puja is not Sanatan.

Ganesha had no existence before birth of Ganesha, so Ganapati Poojan is not Sanatan.

Only Sanatan Dharma is always, since the beginning of creation, the end of creation.

Ego Brahmasmi and Tantamasi.

That is, I am Brahma and you are Brahma. This entire universe is Brahmma.

Brahman is complete. This world is also full. The whole world has originated from full Brahman.

There is no shortage of absoluteness in the fulfillment of Brahma, even after the creation of the whole world.

It remains even in the remaining form. This is eternal truth.

Brahma is the truth. The word Brahma does not have any synonyms.

ARYANS
People of Arya Samaj called it Arya Dharma, whereas the Arya is not considered to be the best of any kind by name of any caste or religion. That is, the one who is superior to the mind, word and action is the Arya. Thus, the meaning of Arya religion is the religion of a superior society. Ancient India was also called Aryavarta, which meant that the land of the noble people was inhabited.

हिन्दू

एक हजार वर्ष पूर्व हिंदू शब्द का प्रचलन नहीं था।

ऋग्वेद में कई बार सप्त सिंधु का उल्लेख मिलता है।

सिंधु शब्द का अर्थ नदी या जलराशि होता है इसी आधार पर एक नदी का नाम सिंधु नदी रखा गया, जो लद्दाख और पाक से बहती है।

ईरानी अर्थात पारस्य देश के पारसियों की धर्म पुस्तक ‘अवेस्ता’ में ‘हिन्दू’ और ‘आर्य’ शब्द का उल्लेख मिलता है।

भाषाविदों का मानना है कि हिंद-आर्य भाषाओं की ‘स’ ध्वनि ईरानी भाषाओं की ‘ह’ ध्वनि में बदल जाती है। आज भी भारत के कई इलाकों में ‘स’ को ‘ह’ उच्चारित किया जाता है। इसलिए सप्त सिंधु अवेस्तन भाषा (पारसियों की भाषा) में जाकर हप्त हिंदू में परिवर्तित हो गया। इसी कारण ईरानियों ने सिंधु नदी के पूर्व में रहने वालों को हिंदू नाम दिया। किंतु पाकिस्तान के सिंध प्रांत के लोगों को आज भी सिंधू या सिंधी कहा जाता है।

दूसरी ओर अन्य इतिहासकारों का मानना है कि चीनी यात्री हुएनसांग के समय में हिंदू शब्द की उत्पत्ति ‍इंदु से हुई थी। इंदु शब्द चंद्रमा का पर्यायवाची है। भारतीय ज्योतिषीय गणना का आधार चंद्रमास ही है। अत: चीन के लोग भारतीयों को ‘इन्तु’ या ‘हिंदू’ कहने लगे।

सनातन
सनातनमेनमहुरुताद्या स्यात पुनण्रव् ( अधर्ववेद 10/8/23)

अर्थात – सनातन उसे कहते हैं जो , जो आज भी नवीकृत है ।

‘सनातन’ का अर्थ है – शाश्वत या ‘हमेशा बना रहने वाला’, अर्थात् जिसका न आदि है न अन्त।

यीशु से पहले ईसाई मत नहीं था,

मुहम्मद से पहले इस्लाम मत नहीं था।

श्री कृष्ण की भागवत कथा श्री कृष्ण के जन्म से पहले नहीं थी अर्थात कृष्ण भक्ति सनातन नहीं है ।

श्री राम की रामायण तथा रामचरितमानस भी श्री राम जन्म से पहले नहीं थी अर्थात श्री राम भक्ति भी सनातन नहीं है ।

श्री लक्ष्मी भी, (यदि प्रचलित सत्य-असत्य कथाओ के अनुसार भी सोचें तो), तो समुद्र मंथन से पहले नहीं थी अर्थात लक्ष्मी पूजन भी सनातन नहीं है ।

गणेश जन्म से पूर्व गणेश का कोई अस्तित्व नहीं था, तो गणपति पूजन भी सनातन नहीं है ।

केवल सनातन धर्मं ही सदा से है, सृष्टि के आरंभ से सृष्टि के अंत |

सनातन सत्य-
।ॐ।। पूर्णमद: पूर्णमिदं पूर्णात् पूर्णमुदच्यते। पूर्णस्य पूर्णमादाय पूर्णमेवावशिष्यते।।- ईश उपनिषद

सत्य दो धातुओं से मिलकर बना है सत् और तत्। सत का अर्थ यह और तत का अर्थ वह। दोनों ही सत्य है।

अहं ब्रह्मास्मी और तत्वमसि।

अर्थात मैं ही ब्रह्म हूँ और तुम ही ब्रह्म हो। यह संपूर्ण जगत ब्रह्ममय है।

ब्रह्म पूर्ण है। यह जगत् भी पूर्ण है। पूर्ण जगत् की उत्पत्ति पूर्ण ब्रह्म से हुई है।

पूर्ण ब्रह्म से पूर्ण जगत् की उत्पत्ति होने पर भी ब्रह्म की पूर्णता में कोई न्यूनता नहीं आती।

वह शेष रूप में भी पूर्ण ही रहता है। यही सनातन सत्य है।

ब्रह्म ही सत्य है। ब्रह्म शब्द का कोई समानार्थी शब्द नहीं है।

आर्य-
आर्य समाज के लोग इसे आर्य धर्म कहते हैं, जबकि आर्य किसी जाति या धर्म का नाम न होकर इसका अर्थ सिर्फ श्रेष्ठ ही माना जाता है। अर्थात जो मन, वचन और कर्म से श्रेष्ठ है वही आर्य है। इस प्रकार आर्य धर्म का अर्थ श्रेष्ठ समाज का धर्म ही होता है। प्राचीन भारत को आर्यावर्त भी कहा जाता था जिसका तात्पर्य श्रेष्ठ जनों के निवास की भूमि था।
