New year resolutions

Every new year we try to be better than last year. And als always we try to do that by making new year resolutions. And now, on the last day of 2017, I’m asking you to not make new year resolutions.

And why I’m asking that of you? Most of the time we are to harsh on our selfs with the new year resolutions. If you ask from yourself to get in shape, to spend more time with the family and to eat healthier. You over commit, with this kind of list al good idea’s will fail.

But the idea to have some good intentions isn’t a bad idea. It can help to get better at life. But how do you do that the good way? It takes at average 66 days to implement and make a habit of a new behavior. It’s importent to make your resolutions to be a habit, else to won’t stick and the energy you put into it are wasted.
So I suggest that you take one good idee, it can by anything, as long is its just one target or goal. Plan it out for 66 days, and start implementing. And after 66 days take another target or goal.

If you are following this road, you will have more succes of implementing and change your habits and life. And because we are here all steemians, my suggestions for a now is to post every few days a blog filled with a rich and valuable text.

And of course, have a good 2018!!
