Loyalty - the most important quality

Being intelligent is important, because it makes you interesting to other people and it really makes life easier. Being confident will make everyone look at you with respect and will make you look good. But loyalty - that's the quality of amazing people.

When we think about loyalty we usually think about love relationships, about two lovers who are loyal to each other. However, loyalty is much more than that. Being loyal to someone or something is more than just "not cheating". It's a moral commitment that can only be made when you really care about a certain relationship.

You can be loyal to your parents and never do something that would upset them, you can be loyal to your company for teaching you all you know and you can be loyal to a friend that has been with you no matter what happened in your life and tried to never let you down.

No matter what the case is, being loyal is a quality that you need to develop and learn. Loyalty is not something that comes natural to every person out there. You need to learn it. Some people are loyal because they want to be, some people learn how to be after a really ugly experience.

No matter what the case is, I assure you that absolutely every man or woman out there loves loyal people. It's just that simple. You can be ugly, you can be stupid, you can be angry all the time, but no matter what the case is, when you're loyal, you're respected by the people who know how to appreciate that quality.

At least I know I'm really grateful to every person who has been into my life and has been loyal to me. I am also grateful to all the people who are not in my life any more, but that were loyal to me when they were. Those kind of people have all my respect, and I'll do my best to not let them down in case they ever need something from me.

If there's something I can do for them, when they will need it, I'll be there, no matter what. Why? Because when I needed them most, they were there for me, even if that wasn't exactly the best option for them. They decided to stay when others left, and that's something that deserves a lot of respect.

That can be applied to everything in life. People respect a man who is loyal to his company and works as much as he can to bring something valuable to his job. People respect a man who is loyal to his parents and would do anything for the people who raised and took care of him.

Of course, along the way you'll find people who will not know how to appreciate loyalty, and who will not care about that. If you're disloyal, they will punish you, but if you're loyal, they won't even notice or appreciate it. Those kind of people don't deserve a lot of attention and you would be better without them.

I don't say that you should betray them, I say that you should get away from them or not try to be their friend. The main reason for this is that almost everyone knows that a loyal person is more valuable than anything and if you're not capable of respecting and appreciating a loyal person, you don't really deserve one in your life.

If someone was disloyal to you, ever, you'll understand what I'm talking about. You'll know the pain you feel when you realize someone betrayed you, when someone did something to hurt you in order to serve their own interest. If that's the case, you know why a loyal person is so important, and so appreciated by everyone.

And since you know that, you should strive to be one. Learn how to be loyal, learn how to refuse betraying someone just to serve yourself. Again, if they don't appreciate it, let them go, but if they do, they may become loyal to you too, and that's a relationship worth having.

I know this may sound stupid to some people, and some won't be interested in the subject, but if there's something that we should care about more, it's loyalty. Looking good is nice, being smart is awesome, having tons of money is really good, but being loyal is a quality that will completely change your life and your relationships.
