Angry gets shit done
A few days ago I was watching the TV Show American Gods and when I got to the last episode of Season 1 I heard a quote that stuck with me - "Angry gets shit done".
If you've ever been truly angry in your life, then you know that feeling. You stop caring about what people say or think, you stop caring about consequences or responsibilities and you just do what you know you must.
I got really angry a few times in my life. There were times when I was ready to destroy everything I built through a lot of work, and times when I wanted to end friendships in violence. I'm grateful I sometimes didn't listened to my instinct, but I'm also happy there were times I did.
You see, when you get angry, and I mean really angry, that type of angry that lasts for a long time, the one you'll feel even after a good night's sleep, you're ready to do anything to get what you desire.
You forget about how tired you are, you forget about all the people who tell you it's wrong to do certain things and you forget about the rules. Sometimes that's destructive, while sometimes that's the beginning of something great.
My advice? Learn how to get angry the right way.
Getting angry is more about your feelings then your logic, but that doesn't mean you cannot use your brain to find the right way to invest your energy. Feeling angry doesn't mean you can't control yourself and focus your anger in places that will help you benefit from your actions.
Everyone gets angry at some point in their life. Some people break the law and get in prison, while others build empires with that basic and primal feeling.
Getting or not getting angry may not be something everyone can control, but there's no person out there who can't control his or her actions. Use your anger and do what you must in order to accomplish what you most desire. Use it to build an empire, not to destroy every chance you have of being in one.
I guess the idea is to just channel it into something constructive then
Yep, that's exactly my point!
And by focusing this energy you get from the inside, something lovely and enchanting can be created.
Yes, even from anger which usually is associated with destruction. People are able to create amazing things even from the most destructible emotions.
