Eye Makeup: Which Beauty Product Or Cosmetic Method Causes Voluntary BLINDNESS?

in #life7 years ago

Mascara, eyeshadow and eyeliner are all beauty product types, and when used as suggested on its labelled container secures the appearance of what it’s supposed to do... giving you the image you set out to accomplish!

Most beauty products will a have negative and positive about it. Next time makeup is used on facial skin and eyes, check the product doesn’t contain substances capable of damaging human skin.

Labels that display the word chemical should give a reason for alarm, however not all bad. Chemicals deemed toxic---avoid.

Its beauty products for god sake so what could possibly make them harmful?

Think of a food recipe. If one ingredient to make that dish shouldn’t be included what happens? Correct... the meal is ruined!

Now think the same for cosmetics, one bad ingredient... need I say more.

Below: Potential negative outcomes of eye products used incorrectly towards eye health.

Beauty products just like food has a sell-by date. Discard cosmetics that have reached the deadline.

As many owners of contact lenses will agree, eyelids are prone to infection. Makeup meant for the eyes and in close contact with the eyelids, particularly out of date items or un-washed brushes, spells disaster.

Mascara, for example, is known to clog with time. Should cloggy particles work their way into oil producing pores, more than likely blockage happens? The pores we refer too are Meibomian gland pores, producer of vital oil needed for tear film stability. An obstruction of any sort could instigate a chronic inflammatory reaction.

Dirty makeup brushes encourage bacteria, so with each application, you are risking the spread of bacteria.

Applying eye makeup whilst in motion is a silly thing to do. Makeup tools like brushes, mascara wands even eyeliner pencils could slip causing irreparable eye damage.

Not wanting to burst your bubble but false eyelashes have been proven potentially dangerous. If adhesive touches the tear film or ocular surface, expect issues.

Failing to remove mascara or eyeliner at bedtime ups the odds of bacteria massing and oil build up too.

Antiseptic wipes can shove bacteria back into the eye so be careful.

Protect the eyes...

Common sense says listen to the experts. Applying makeup and endorsing the right practice as recommended, should help protect the eyes.

Warning: Some people lose their sight through disease which they had no control over and COULDN’T be prevented, whereas you are in control, and choosing to ignore the advice on eye health, the lights could go out for you, which COULD have been prevented.

TIP: If you are travelling to a hot country or even one with freezing temperatures, stock up with cosmetics especially developed for different climates---making sure your eye products can withstand the changes.
