One problem; @grumpycat can flag after the 6.5 day mark, and you can't upvote after that. The only way to get around this (that I've found) is to upvote a newer post instead.
Also, @danielsaori wrote an awesome counter vote script that counts flag/s value and neutralizes up to the exact reward with an upvote. This may be a good piece of the puzzle to get you started.
