Team work

Cooperation makes it easy. My son was starting out to school. As the father, I undertook to bath him and dress him up for school. He wouldn't let any other person. They will go through frustrating experiences and pressure that at the end the dressing is too shabby. In my hands he yields so reverently and the job is very smooth, free and easy. His cooperation with me made it easy. It wasn't because I have any special art of dressing nor was it because others do not know too.

I watched a football match. It was a crucial world cup qualifying match between the Nigerian Super Eagles and the Zambian National team played at the Uyo International Stadium. Both teams needed the match and they did not hesitate to gun for it. The players played out their hearts but the goals refused to come. The opposition was strong and all that was needed was just a goal. Any trace of selfishness is a cancer-worm. I watched in excitement as a player trust the ball from the left flank to his team forward beating his opponent to the game and how the player collected the ball and pulled through the side dislodging the careful goal keeper for a very neat goal at the last minute. The entire stadium went agog with Joy and excitement. Nigeria is one goal ahead that was going to subsist and carry them through to the world cup next year in Russia. Nigeria has defeated her opponent and through to the world cup. Cooperation did it.

Teamwork is it but no team work without cooperation. Cooperation is the thing that make team work work. No body is a super human and no one is failure proof. Iike the Gamber in Kenny Rogers said “every hand is a looser and every hand is a winner and the best you can hope for is to die in your sleep“

The best achievers achieved because they had help. And the failures of great men through out history has always been risked by insubordination from followers. No one can succeed alone. You help someone and in turn get one.

This is why people who succeed attributes their success to their team members. They are not mincing words. Without the cooperation of their team members they couldn't have made it.

You need to learn how to offer cooperation and also learn how to negotiate for one. When people cooperate everyone of them wins and if they fail to, everyone looses. The extent of the cooperation you enjoy determines how powerful you are and to what extent your success will reach.

Don't forget that we are feeble in strength and limited in knowledge. We will depend on the skill, knowledge, techniques and tools of our team mates to be able to the excel in life. Use it to crack the code
